When is the RSVP deadline?
Please send in your RSVP by Saturday 31st August to allow us time to put together the final number of guests, as well as accommodate any dietary requirements you may have.
What is the dress code?
We have opted for a dress code of 'Summer Semi-Formal' - but ultimately, we want you to wear something that makes you feel great. Fun and bright colours are encouraged. If you want to use this as an opportunity to get dressed up then go for it! The wedding will be taking place on the last day of summer (isn't that romantic?), and will hopefully be taking place outdoors, but please bring a spare layer in case the weather isn't looking favourable.
What are the timings of the day?
Please arrive at Minstead Lodge at 12:30pm. The ceremony will begin at 1pm, with the reception to follow at the same venue. The wedding breakfast will be served from 2:30pm; evening food will also be provided. The reception finishes at 11pm.
When will food be served? Do I need to choose my meal in advance?
The wedding breakfast will be held from 2:30pm. This will be served buffet-style, so that you can choose what looks good to you on the day; there will be a variety of options to hopefully cater to all tastes.
Evening food will be served from 8pm to see you through the evening's festivities!
Are children welcome?
Yes, we would be delighted to have the whole family present! Your little ones are more than welcome to celebrate the day with us. Please bring plenty to keep them entertained.
Is the venue dog friendly?
Yes, Minstead Lodge is pet friendly; please let the bride or groom know if you plan on bringing your furry friend.
Can I take photos during the ceremony and reception (and where can I share the photos afterwards)?
Yes, in fact we encourage it! We have opted not to hire a professional photographer, so that the day (and the memories!) feel as organic and un-staged as possible. Therefore, if you have a camera that you would be happy to bring, we encourage you to do so. However, during the ceremony we ask that all phones are on silent, and for guests to be respectful of others' views (i.e. we don't want anyone unable to see the ceremony due to the person in front of them holding their phone up!).
Any photos you take during the day can be shared with us, as well as the other guests, by uploading them to our shared Gallery here.
We kindly ask that you resist the temptation to post any photos of the bride & groom on social media until after we have had the chance to do so ourselves.

Your presence at our wedding is present enough. However should you wish to celebrate with a gift, we would gratefully accept a contribution to our honeymoon. For guests who may prefer to give a physical gift, our registry is available here: https://www.giftster.com/list/2pBmp/
If you do choose to give a physical gift, please send it to our home in favour of bringing them with you on the day; for our address, please contact Rosie, James, Emma (the Maid of Honour), Mary (James' mother) or Pat (Rosie's mother).
Who should I contact if I have questions on the day?
Please contact the Maid of Honour, Emma, with any pressing questions you may have on the day, as the bride and groom will have their hands full preparing for the nuptials! Emma can be contacted on 07397 078006.
